What is a Flying Car?
A flying car is a type of personal air vehicle that provides door-to-door transportation by both road and air. The term "flying car" is often used to include roadable aircraft and hovercars.
Introduction
Flying car will be one of the greatest invention of the modern technology. A two-seater flying car which drives on normal roads, using petrol, but can take wing from any open grassy area. Flying cars fly slightly lower than planes. It doesn’t need any airport. Many users will find this a very efficient way to move. It contains various ground-breaking technologies which could spark a new age of personal aviation, such as variable-angle wings which allow it to take off on a much shorter runway than rival aircraft.
Why fly cars are needed?
Even with the roadable aircraft that we have now, one MAJOR advantage would be travel time. I live in southern India and many of my friends live in north India. At the moment, without a flying car, I have to get in my car and drive four and half hours to see them. It’s not the worst drive, but it’s definitely tedious and can be exhausting after a while. However, if I had a flying car like the Transition or the PAL-V, I could cut the travel time almost in half, maybe more. Many towns have small airports. The town I live in has one and the town I go to a lot. So it may take time to reach there and if planes are not available at that time then I must wait until the next plane schedule.
This makes the world smaller. Flying cars would allow people to travel greater distances quickly. People could live farther away from work and go places they normally couldn’t. Those are some pretty good advantages.
